Viridor Recycling Facilities at Rochester
The Viridor recycling facility project at Ford was a full recycling plant together with an office and visitor centre. The project included the external services and lighting, Main MRF area lighting and water services, together with the full office and visitor centre mechanical and electrical services.
The services included full ventilation and comfort cooling as well as the services to the shower and changing room facility. The electrical services incorporating energy saving lighting as well as energy saving features on the main intake supply.
The main MRF plant provided an interesting challenge to light the area in a way that provided access to the lighting for maintenance once the plant was installed.
